Hybrid analysis of multimodal medical data

Session organizer

Prof. Ewa Piętka, Silesian University of Technology

Session scope

The Special Session welcomes contributors who open up their research to investigate multimodal data, acquired at all stages of patients diagnosis and treatment. Images of internal organs, signals, motion scanning, speech, laboratory parameters are just examples of various types of data that complement each other, reflecting a broader, more adequate, and reliable patient condition. Hybrid automatic or semiautomatic method for supporting the identification and/or quantification of physical, psychological, emotional abnormalities are welcome.

We encourage submissions that are methodologically rich and medically relevant, deploying different levels of analysis (e.g., patient-related, problem-related, healthcare), conceptualizing the issue as a multi-level process and providing ideas for innovative approaches to assist a person at all stages of the health condition. We welcome submissions from different disciplines using diverse medical and social lenses around prevention, medical diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation, home care, etc.

Please notice that all submissions must comply with the PCBBE regulations.
